Fred Lambert. The Volvo XC40 Recharge and the Polestar 2, two new electric vehicles from the Volvo-Geely company, got their official EPA ratings today — both hitting over miles of range. The latter is more surprising since Polestar had previously hinted at an EPA range of about miles with the 78 kWh battery pack.
As for the Volvo XC40 Recharge, it is using the same 78 kWh battery pack as the Polestar, but the vehicle is bigger, and therefore, we were expecting a shorter range. FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links. Subscribe to Electrek on YouTube for exclusive videos and subscribe to the podcast.

The engineers moved the shock behind the seat tube and adjusted the travel of the whole bike, with mm at the front and mm out back. The fully integrated Wh battery slides out of the frame sideways, without the need of tools. As its predecessor, the battery can be charged both on and off the bike and features a very clever carrying handle on the top of the housing.Malayalam kambikatha ammayodothu kuli

The Slash now has mm of travel, a mm fork, and it received the usual longer, lower, and slacker treatment for As an added bonus it received a new in-frame storage system, which provides enough room to hold a tube, tire lever, and CO2, or whatever snacks you can squish into a rectangular opening.
Other changes include a threaded bottom bracket, and a new KnockBlock system that still keeps the handlebar or brake levers from contacting the frame during a crash, but allows for a much greater range of motion than before. Otherwise, the remainder of the components are the same as the Slash 8, including the Code R Brakes and TransX dropper post. The new RockShox Zeb fork first appears at the 9. A revamp of the Top Fuel last year gave it mm of travel, which increased its trail capabilities, but left a gap where it previously stood as a World Cup race bike.
The Supercaliber quickly followed to fill that spot, and now Trek has unveiled an updated version of their Procaliber hardtail. Still scratching my head why more manufacturers don't bake that into their hardtail offerings. HopeFbn Aug 27, at HopeFbn : it doesn't anymore. Not many of their bikes do anymore. I agree with Klainmeister - this frame is already relatively heavy and budget oriented, and while I get that they are trying to reuse the same molds as before to keep costs down, I would be thrilled to be able to use something like this as a SS option. HopeFbn : yeah I was so bummed when they did away with the SS dropouts on the Crockett I bought one of the last framesets they had with it.
NorCalNomad Aug 27, at Because more people want gears and getting on the UDH standard makes more sense than the tiny sliver of people who want to single speed their xc bike. NorCalNomad : that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Today the new Emonda was released. All-road ready: Trek has overhauled its entry-level Domane AL range
It's amazing. But the raw carbon on the fork has some weird manafacturing markings that looks weird and I thought it was messed up paint to being with. The Marlin 5 has been sold out everywhere and I put a deposit on a so if this is true I hope I get the call to get my new ride soon!
Check the new bikes section of the trek website. There's currently some Emodas, FX, and Marlins listed. I've heard that too, but I see some other models on some dealer websites in Europe and wondering if that stuff hits the market here as well.
Like here is a domane al3, but with disc brakes. Talked to my lbs last night about this, he said three manufacturing plants are still shut down.At a time when cycling is booming, Trek has overhauled much of its entry-level road range, the Domane AL. Sticking with aluminium as the frame material of choice, the new Domane AL Disc range is more versatile than ever with huge tyre clearance, a welcoming endurance geometry and, as the name suggests, disc brakes.
New for is a fresh frame designed with disc brakes in mind. Previous Domane AL frames featured subtly angular and mostly rounded tubes, while the new disc model moves to more modern, sharper-edged shapes, not too dissimilar to the carbon versions. The alloy used may be basic, but the frame features are not. And while unconfirmed, I believe it has a threaded bottom bracket, too. The Domane AL Disc is available in seven sizes. The new frame features mounts for fenders and racks, three bidon cage mounts, and there are even bolts on the top tube for a Bento bag.
Unlike the carbon versions of the Domanethe new Domane AL lacks any of the shock-absorbing IsoSpeed flex pivot designs at the seat tube and head tube. However, these entry-level versions still offer a carbon fork on the front, and use a slender However, much of the ride comfort will come from the generous tyre volume.
The Domane AL is now likely to be the right choice for those wanting to do a heap of road and a little gravel, while the Checkpoint is probably better for those seeking to do the opposite.
The new Domane AL Disc is available in four models and with a generous range of colours. All models feature tubeless-ready wheels, with the top two options equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and the lower two featuring mechanical disc brakes. Further model details are outlined in the gallery below.
